We will be traveling with 18 family members for a summer trip to Germany in 2011. We would like to get a private tour guide and coach. Any recommendations?

What will be your starting point in Germany? Where will you end the tour? Do you already have dates? Especially if you need that coach from and to the same airport I would then pick a local bus company or better request proposal from a couple of local companies. If you provide the data I can research bus company names for you. IM me.

The same bus company that runs the Romantic Road tours has a charter service based in Frankfurt. (www.touring-travel.eu/index.php?id=12&L=2).

Ed, you can try stuttgartbus.com They even have an English section. Good luck with so many family members. Sounds like a logistical nightmare to me.
