printing DB tickets

I've just made multiple train reservations with DB and had them forwarded to my email address. Does it matter what size I print them? Thanks for your help.

Print them out at 100 percent. Only a tiny bit is cut off the top, and even that line is readable. But the main thing is the scan bar. As long as the scan bar at the bottom is intact, you should not have a problem. If it does cut into that part, you can always flip the page and reprint.

"As long as the scan bar at the bottom is intact" ??? Every online ticket I have received from the Bahn has looked like this, with a square "Barcode" in the upper right corner. The ticket says "Bitte auf A4 ausdrücken", please print out on A4 (paper). I was real concerned about the size and proportions of the barcode, so I cut down 11 x 14 paper to make A4 and used it in my printer set for A4. Then I took the print file with me to Germany and had my first host print it on his printer. It wasn't exactly the same size. When I used the ticket, I realized it didn't really matter. The conductor scans the barcode with his tricorder from about 15 inches away, approx perpendicular. Any of my printouts would have worked, including the one I did at home on 8½ x 11. The main thing is not to have a crease across the barcode ( nicht knickend). AND, don't forget to show the conductor the credit card used to purchase the ticket.

I purchased a Deutschebahn ticket online this morning for July 28. The barscan was in the bottom righthand corner. It printed w/o a problem. But I am not going to post it online.

Thank you! My German is extremely limited, so I was concerned about the instructions for printing the tickets. AND, I haven't used a train in Germany since "scanning" tickets was a factor. It sounds like my 8 1/2 by 11 printed tickets should be just fine.
