Hello all! I travel to Italy once/month. (fortunately I work for an airlines!). I always use the trenitalia.com site and for some reason the pricing is not showing up now. I am checking for April 25th. When I pull the schedules up...where the pricing is normally shown it says "this travel solution is not sellable for this segment". I though perhaps there had been a strike and things were backed up? I don't usually pre-purchase tickets because I travel "standby" from the States and never know what time I will arrive in Milano Malpensa. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
Where do you want to go after you arrive at the airport? You've posted a duplicate thread. Please delete it so people only have one thread to which they can respond.
Sherry, I just looked at a run on 4/25 from Malpensa to Bologna and got the same thing as you for all runs. It's not you. Trenitalia doesn't seem to want to sell tickets where the Regonale train from Malpensa is involved. I used to easily see this run before they d their website. Not to worry however. No strike and no backups. The Regionale is still running. As a backup, I believe they still have the bus runs from Malpensa to Milan Centrale should you wish to do that.
Thanks y'all! I am wanting to go from Malpensa to Piacanza. From what I remember, it's usually around 20 euro or so...depending if I take the fast train. @ Tim.....I will delete the other post as soon as I figure out how...lol ...because I don't know how it wound up being a duplicate in the first place...yes, I am technologically challenged at times :-) I had heard that they had reconfigured the site and that it may possibly require registration now....sooo, I registered, and alas...when I tried to change the passcode as required...it gave an error message...lol... I love my "second home country"...but as we say: Italy!! Where everything is beautiful and nothing works! But I do love the simplicity of most things there! Thanks again!!
