We recently flew to Denver from Baltimore and rented a car thru Priceline only to find that the rental office was 27 miles away and cost a $70+ cab ride (plus a $70+ return ride). We did not suspect that the rental was not at the airport. I think this kind of low-balling by Priceline is deceptive and unethical. Priceline users beware!!
good point - but didn't it give the address on their communications with you? Did they say it was at that airport and then switch it?
They gave an address, but we assumed it was the airport and had little way of knowing otherwise. In the future I will look up the address for the location I want and check it against the address they give me. They should say 'airport' or 'downtown Denver' when they post the offer.
