There seem to be many of these types of services available in London. We would only be using this for two days. Does anyone have one that they prefer or were pleased with.
Alas, you will sit in traffic.
My travel style is to explore on foot. Been visiting and staying in London since 1972.
From where ever your accommodations are use the tube (Underground) to Westminster. Exit the station. You will be in the shadow of Elizabeth’s Tower and the Big Ben bell. Cross at the light and to see….Parliament, Westminster Abbey. You can also visit the Churchill War Rooms. For a lovely picture walk onto Westminster Bridge and mid span snap a shot of Parliament.
While on the bridge avoid the card games et al.
You might enjoy just using the real buses. They can use the bus lanes so are not stuck in traffic like the tourist buses. Much, much cheaper of course.
Hop on hop off buses are a disaster in London traffic and a very inefficient way to get from one place to another.
All good responses so far. HOHO busses in London are not an efficient way to get around.
And here is a link to the main bus routes that serve the tourist sites:

We love the London Transport buses. Give it a try. At £1.75 per ride, and a daily cap of £5.75, it is bound to be cheaper than the HOHO bus anyway.
Thanks everyone. Reading these just helped me remember one Rick Steves recording where he describes with his interviewers how hopeless these buses are now with London traffic. I had forgotten! We are on a Rick Steves tour, which does include Westminster Abbey, tower of London, etc. We like using the tube and the buses which we will certainly be using when we head to Oxford for five days of exploration and relaxation when the tour is over.
Thanks again.
City Mapper App will get you anywhere you want to go using public transport in real time.
