This is completely unscientific, but I don't think this is shaping up to be a great year for fares to Europe (from the perspective of the consumer).
I have a process I go through every year and my early indicators are prices may be $150-$200 higher this year vs. the same trip last year.
Hopefully I have put the double jinx on the airlines and there will be an announcement of huge fare reductions, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Just sayin....
