Is the Metro/Tram Pass a worthwhile item or should one pay per trip?

If you plan to use public transport frequently, I would get one. If for no other reason than peace of mind. I was checked by the "Ticket Nazis" alot.

I agree. They have a wonderful public transportation system in the city, but honestly you can walk just about anywhere you need to go, so your use of the metro will most likely be limited.
