We are flying into Prague at 10 PM and staying at the Lida Guesthouse. Is the airport pickup the Lida offers our best deal, or should I look into a taxi?

When we were in Prague a few years ago, Prague taxis were notorious for ripping off tourists. They may or may not have gotten better, but I have no current insight into that. You didn't say how much the pickup offered by your hotel is, but you should factor in the fact that if you are flying from Oregon to Prague, it will be late and you will be very jet-lagged. We've had several pickups from airports and there's something to be said for only having to look for somebody with a card holding your name and having them take care of the rest.

We have used Mike's Chauffer for airport pickup
in Prague and had excellent experience. His

and it is exactly what I would've posted if he didn't
Some of the stupidest rookie travel mistakes I have made have been when I'm beyond exhausted.
The cheapest deal might not always be the safest.
You will love Prague!
I hope you will be able to take a day trip to Cesky Krumlov...it's magical!

I stayed at Guesthouse Lida and used their taxi service early one morning to get to the airport. I found that it was easiest and I wasn't paying much more (if any) than another taxi co. would have charged. Enjoy your stay at Guesthouse Lida, it is a fabulous place with very nice hosts.
