A friend and I would like to travel to Prague and London next spring. Is it better to fly return to London and fly from London to Prague? Or is an open jaws flight possible?
Open jaws is totally doable and great fares are available. I just used Orbitz' 'Multi-city' feature to query dummy dates for a 2-week itinerary in October 2013 as follows: Toronto (YYZ) > London (LHR) > Prague (PRG) > Toronto (YYZ) It showed me 249 (!) possible combinations of flights on excellent airlines with good flight times, and the round-trip fare was in the $958 - $971 range and going up from there. I know you said Spring 2014, but I played with dates for this Fall. If fares were that low for October, they may be equally low for the following Spring, especially if you book far in advance.
That's excellent advice, Rose. I'll definitely go that route. Thank you. Carol
Carol, I just added a bit more to my reply - in case you read it while I was editing it.
