Extremely frightening and unfair…unless you are actually convicted of a crime.

Here are the published reasons for Ineligibility.

You may not be eligible for participation in the Global Entry program if you:

Provide false or incomplete information on the application;
Have been convicted of any criminal offense or have pending criminal charges or outstanding warrants (to include driving under the influence);
Have been found in violation of any customs, immigration or agriculture regulations or laws in any country;
Are the subject of an ongoing investigation by any federal, state or local law enforcement agency;
Have been denied for the purchase of a firearm;
Are inadmissible to the United States under immigration regulation, including applicants with approved waivers of inadmissibility or parole documentation; or
Cannot satisfy CBP of your low-risk status.

Thank you, Mr É 🇺🇸 🇺🇦 🇭🇺.

"Have been found in violation of any customs, immigration or agriculture regulations or laws in any country..."

This may be the published reason and the individual's bugaboo.

The protester in this article writes, "The agent stated that I was impeding their work. He indicated he was giving me a verbal warning and if I was found to be impeding again, I would be arrested.”

No arrest does not mean there was no violation was placed on record. In fact, for the threat of future arrest to be carry any weight at all, this violation MUST have been recorded for reference by other agents who she might later be in contact with.

I don’t like it either, but that last published reason, cannot satisfy CBP of low risk status, is a catch all meaning that the burden is on the individual to prove a negative, that the decision is entirely discretionary, and a denial can be based on any reason, or no reason at all.

Wear a mask.

Pointing out that there is already other technology out there where plates are read and owners' names announced to the law enforcement driver. No one should be surprised that they already have your name. Also speculating that they don't need facial recognition to revoke Trusted Traveler status, and can do it from the license plate.

When I first got GE, I was warned that any infringement could mean losing it.

He said with GE we trust you are going to do the right thing. If we no longer trust you, you could lose it.

Remember, GE is not a right given to you. It is a privilege that can be taken away.
