Hi :)
Our tour ends in Belfast and we will be flying out of Dublin after a couple of extra days there. For those of you who have done the Ireland tour, is there a tour affiliated way to get from Belfast to Dublin? And if not a tour connection, can anyone recommend transportation you used to get from Belfast to Dublin?
Thank you!
There are direct buses from Belfast to Dublin airport, €10/£8 for a single ticket. https://www.aircoach.ie/belfast
From Belfast to central Dublin there are also trains. Single tickets start at €17.99. https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/offer/take-the-enterprise-service-to-belfast
I did the direct bus. It worked great.
Have done the aircoach ( bus ) to Belfast from Dublin and back twice. Very easy. Secure and comfortable.
Same with the train.
If you are departing after a Rick Steves Tour the Guide will help you with transfers.
Thank you all for the response! That makes me feel more comfortable with the decision to fly out of a different city :)
Aircoach is very nice, and you can easily book through their website. Just show the driver your reservation on your phone or tablet. I used it to get from and to the Dublin Airport.
