Hello, We will be traveling by car...does anyone know if it is Possible to Leave Salzburg, visit Hallstatt and Melk and arrive Vienna in one day before dark in late September? Thanks for your help!

Hello, if you get up very early and leave Salzburg immediately, than it is possible. But this also depends on how long you will stay in Hallstatt and Melk.
Normally, you can travel from Salzburg to Vienna in about three hours. Melk is easily reachable from the highway, so you can resolve this in 30-60 minutes. Hallstatt can be reached only by regional streets. It´s about 80 km from Salzburg, maybe a ride of one and a half hours in one direction. Best wishes
