How big is the Campanha train station in Porto? Is a 9 min transfer do--able with one large roller bag? It's either 9 minutes or almost 2 hours. Thanks
Kahtrav,
I don't remember the station being especially large, so nine minutes should be adequate for a transfer - https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/train-times/Stations/porto-campanha-station . Of course there could be complications such as the train you're arriving on being late.
Thank you. I have found that if I run a itinerary from point A to B, then B to C, I can find another train that runs 30 minutes earlier. so we'd have extra time to find our way around with a suitcase. I'm a bit frustrated with the website, though. It won't let me look for a one way itinerary which makes it hard to book anything online with discounts. However, since we are over 65, we should be able to book at the station with the senior rate. Mostly the train I'm connecting with only runs 4 times a day, so missing that is an issue on the other end. Thanks.
