Can anyone provide company names or information on how to get from Porto to Santiago? We have rented a car for Portugal and, it seems, have to drop it in Porto but I can not figure how to get to Santiago. Even info in the books does not show bus routes or train routes between these two. I would also love to purchase tickets for bus or train ahead of time. Thanks for the help.

Just curious - why do you "have to" drop your rental car in Porto? (unless it's your preference of course) The drive from Porto to Santiago is easy and no car rental company in Portugal will restrict you from driving into Spain.

Actually, we would rather keep our car and drive to santiago but the auto rental companies I have tried do not let you put the drop off destination outside of Portugal (autoeurope.com) or the cost was astronomical. Do you have the name of a rental that would allow us to drop the car in santiago?
