Point to point tickets from CDG/Paris to Dijon

We are a family of 4 reaching CDG at 9:25 on June 15th. There is a direct TGV from CDG to Dijon at 11:21. Problem is for the last 3 days, our flight has reached late, once by 3 hours!
If we can make it to the train in time, what are our chances of getting last minute tickets? At this point we will probably settle for 1st or 2nd class.
Also what are chances if we go to Gare de Lyon, as there are more trains from there?
We are also traveling with a 17 year old Autistic son and it is our 4th trip to Europe and 2nd to France with him.
So we usually like everything planned ahead.
Any suggestions would be most welcome

Thanks

It's not likely that the direct TGV from CDG will be sold out so you should be able to get tickets at the last minute. It's even less likely that TGVs from Gare de Lyon will be sold out.

Thanks Tim!
I guess we will take our chances and hope our flight is not too late.
I think the flights have been reaching Paris a bit late because of the volcanic ash. Hopefully the volcano will stop spewing by the time we leave.

You should have a backup plan just in case. The next train to Dijon leaves from Gare Lyon in Paris at 12:58.

There is a bus that goes directly from DeGaulle to Gare Lyon, departure point for most of trains to Dijon.

I don't mean to say that you can't make your intended train, just urging you to plan for every contingency.

To improve your chances and speed your way to the train, pack light and do not check your bags.

Thanks for the tip, Adam!
We were thinking of taking the RER to Gare de Lyon if we missed the train at CDG. But that would involve changing trains at Gare du Nord or Chatelet Les Halles.
The bus seems to be a much better option as it is direct.
