Hi, I have 2 questions I'm planning to travel from Paris to Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland via Rail and then Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland to Venice ...where would I purchase point to point rail ticket from? And do I need to purchase in advance? Can I purchase the tickets from Paris?

Purchase your tickets from Paris to Interlaken Ost at tgv-europe.com, tell the site that you like in the UK. From Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen you will have to purchase tickets once you arrive. From Laut. to Venice, purchase your tickets at the Swiss Rail site: http://rail.ch Both websites offer cheap restricted advance purchase fares up to 90 days in advance. The sooner you purchase the cheaper it will be.
If you wait to purchase your ticket once you arrive in Paris, you'll likely pay the most expensive fare.
