The thought just occured to me that while in the Heathrow Airport I have need of an outlet for charging phone,iPod, plugging in laptop etc...will the outlet require a plug that is used in the UK? I have of course the adapter that will convert US to FRA but it has been suggested that the UK uses a different form of plug!! Will there be a way to charge electronics without buying another adapter?
Kate, would you expect the Des Moines airport to have a outlet plug that the Brits could use to charge their iPods. Of course not. The same is true for Europe, Britain or any other country. If you want to use outlet in England you need an adapter for that country. And it is different than the rest of Europe.
Adapters are cheap. Just buy one for Britain.
