Does anyone know how to set up transportation via bus from Plitvice Lakes to Zagreb by bus in advance. I've seen several posts that say buses run irregularly and don't always stop if they "don't want to." Seems really suspicious when trying to plan my trip. Any help would be great. Thanks!

The bus web site is not very user friendly. If you buy express bus tickets a day in advance at the park kiosk, then I'd expect the bus driver to know about you and to stop. Or I expect you could buy them at the bus station before your first leg to Plitvice. Confirm whether you have a reserved seat or an open ticket.

I tried emailing one of the hotels in the park to ask about buying tickets as I'd assume they'd get bus questions all the time. They seemed just as clueless as most of the websites I'd seen. Are there physical ticket kiosks at the park to buy tickets? I was under the impression that the "bus stops" are merely a make-shift stop on the side of the road that the buses may or may not acknowledge, which left me thinking I couldn't actually buy tickets while in Plitvice?
