Plane to Train Timing at CDG

Should I book a train ticket from CDG to Loire region ahead of time or just wait until that day? On the one hand, don't know how long customes and luggage collection will take. On the other hand, do trains fill up? Also, would it cost less to book ahead of time?
Traveling with my teenage daughter.

I know if you book through AirFrance, you can choose St-Pierre-des-Corps as your final destination and then you will be protected if the incoming flight is delayed. Don't know the cost implications. You can book a TGV Pro fare and have a ticket changeable 2 hours after the train departure time. Doesn't help if there is a 2 hour delay.
Buy at CDG and the next departure may be sold out, but there are trains approximately every 2 hours, so you are bound to get on one of them.
