I am looking at backpacking Europe this summer. I plan to start and end in London. Right now tickets are right about $1,000 (USD). My question is should I buy now, or will that price go down? Any advice is appreciated!

IMHO, from Denver, that's a pretty good price. Waiting might cut a hundred off that, but might also add a couple of hundred. Now if anyone can please tell me when to buy Apple stock, that would be some really useful information.

Since I can't find anything under $1600 to Italy from SFO (gotta go in July though), I think $1000 to London is not too bad.

I see a $439 one way into LHR through Iceland, which is a great buy, for many days. The 9 hr. layover is tough, however. The least expensive round trip flights are again thru Iceland, but not for $1,000. I'd just say grab it if you can at that price.

That is the best price out of Denver that I have seen in a long, long time. If you can get it, get it now.
