We are going from Amsterdam to Brighton. Looks like a plane to Gatwick and then train to Brighton is the way to go. Any other suggestions? Time is important. Thanks.

That looks like the best. Easy Jet to Gatwick. An alternative would be Amsterdam to Brussels on the Thalys changing to a Eurostar train to London St Pancras, tube to Victoria station, then train to Brighton.

No need to get the tube, there are regular First Capital Connect trains direct to Brighton from St Pancras.

EasyJet to Gatwick. Catch the train in the Gatwick Airport straight to Brighton.
That's about as easy and as cheap as it gets.
