We are flying into Charles De Gaulle a/p about 1 hr after our adult daughter, all on American Airlines. We want to meet up at the a/p and travel to our hotel together. I assume we get our baggage and then go thru customs. Does anyone know if our daughter would be permitted to wait for us in the American Airlines baggage claim area and how suitable a place that would be to wait. As an alternative any suggestions for a simple, comfortable, easy to spot each other place in the airport to meet after one has cleared customs. We don't expect to have cell phone service there.
We've never been to that a/p and have not traveled to Europe in 11 yr.

American Airlines uses Terminal 2A so meeting in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel, as Steve suggests, would work very well.

Baggage claim is behind secondary customs. She can wait at the arrivals gate at your terminal. It's a nice lounge type area, lots of seats and many boards posting the different arrivals. I have waited there numerous times for friends and my boyfriend.

Thank you all for the time, trouble and info. We've got good info now and can pick a good spot. Also the a/p website given by you tells which terminal for each airline and I printed out the terminal map for AA (2A).
