Train station is inside the Pisa airport. There are at least 2 trains departing the Pisa Aeroporto station every hour. Some go all the way to Florence and you don't even need to get off. Others require you to change trains at Pisa Centrale. The trains that go to all the way to Florence (i.e. no change required at Pisa Centrale) depart from Pisa Aeroporto at (using the 24 hour clock format): 0653 0903 1103 1303 1503 1701 1903 2220 travel time to Florence is as little as 57 minutes, if you take one of the above trains that require no change. Otherwise it depends on how long you need to wait for the connection at Pisa Centrale. I wouldn't take a taxi to Pisa Centrale, unless you have little time to make a train from Centrale. If you happen to have your luggage from the carousel and ready to go and there is a Florence bound train departing from the airport shortly after, you should take it from the airport. Full schedule here: www.trenitalia.com Enter from Pisa Aeroporto to Firenze S.M.Novella. Choose a date within a week starting from the time of your scheduled arrival. In addition to the above train option there is also the Terravision bus. It might be faster if you have to wait for the train a long time.
Bus option is below: http://www.terravision.eu/florence_pisa.html?adw=1 Take all schedules with you (train and bus) and decide when you deplane.
