Has anyone driven from Pisa's airport to its train station. I will be picking people up there and need some information. Where is the best place for them to meet me? I gather from pictures that you can NOT drive up to the entrance? Is that so if so, where can I park? Thanks.

Your question is not clear. Are you intending to pick up people at the Pisa airport or the main Pisa train station? For the train station, of course you can drive up to the main entrance to drop off and pick up passengers. I've seen buses and cars there. Parking might be a different story. Also, Pisa is one of three places in Italy that has an express train from the airport to the main station. It's the Galileo Express. It's a 5-minute train trip from the airport to the main train station. From the tracks, it's a very short walk through the terminal and out to the front of the station.

Thanks so much this has been very helpful. I intend to pick people up at the train station. So I need to p/u my rental at the a/p and then drive to the train station to p/u people.
I was looking to see just how clear the signs were, if anyone has driven it, just what their experiences were and if there were any tips they could pass along. Thanks.

I am not sure how you are doing this, but one suggestion would be for your party at the Pisa City train station to take the train out to the airport and meet you there, then you can all be together when you pick up the car and leave with the car from there. You do not say where you are going, if you are staying in Pisa, if you are flying into the airport that day....etc.
As someone said, it is a short train ride from the airport to the train station, and my recollection of Pisa is that parking could be a problem. You can drive up to the station and pick someone up, but not park there while you meet them inside.
