What is the best way to pay for gas in Ireland and Wales. Neither of the cards I have will work over there, and I'm wondering if I'll have to pay with cash in most places.

I'll bet they do, but gas stations will also take cash. I have no idea what option three would be.

I don't know why you think your cards won't work. If they are VISA or Mastercard, they will work fine. But you certainly have the option of paying cash.

It might be a good idea to call the BP card people and ask them. They would know for sure. But a regular VISA or Mastercard would work.

Thanks! I wasn't very clear, we were referring to our gas cards. ie: would BP gas card work in UK?
