Hello Everyone,
I'm arriving at London's Heathrow Terminal 3 on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 4 pm. Any ideas how long it will take to get through passport control?

Impossible to say. It is all dependent on how many planes unload, how many agents they have on duty, even where the other planes originated from makes a difference. You can safely assume a good hour from landing to walking out of the terminal, but it could be longer.

Been thru Heathrow three times, but all early morning arrivals (like 7-8am)...had it anywhere from what felt like an hour + on the first trip, to maybe 15min the second trip...that shocked me - there was barely anyone waiting - guess we just got lucky...it's anyone's guess...

No way to know. When I came through there in August I walked right up to the desk, no wait at all. But I have also waited there for over an hour.

Hopefully I'll get lucky and it won't take too long. I need to get myself into London to catch a train bound for Southampton. Thanks again.
