Parking in Rome

Hi,
We are driving into Rome and will be there for 4 days. Please suggest a safe and a reasonable Garage where we can park for 4 days.
Thanks!

Good Luck !!!! You best bet is to contact your hotel and ask their recommendations. Rome is a nightmare to drive and park. Take all of the option insurance you can get.

There's a parking garage on the southwest side of Termini station (Via Giovani Gilloti). It should make getting to where ever you're going fairly easy. I've forgotten the rates, but like all other places, it's fairly steep.

I'm with Frank -- ask the hotel for ideas.

The other options is to stay out a ways. Eurostars Roma Congress has free parking and a shuttle to take you back and forth to Termini (also free). Modern hotel with great rates, but have forgotten those as well.

Actually it doesn't have to be so bad. A couple of years ago we put our car in the garage in Via Ludovisi near the via Veneto just south of the Villa Borghese.

It was very clean, under supervision, and appeared very safe to me.

The price was not low, but not unreasonable.

You do have to be careful though, as this is the last road before the ZTL.

I'm glad we used that garage.
