Paris Train Stations

Can you tell me how far the Paris Nord station is from the Paris St Lazare station and how to get there from Nord Station? My mom, sister-in-law and I are leaving out of Nord to go to London, where as my dad and brother are leaving out of St Lazare to go to Bayeux.

Technically the RER E departs from Magenta, not Gare du Nord, but the stations are connected to each other. There are signs telling you how to get to the RER E.
