Paris to Venice: night train or fly?

My wife and I want to go from Paris to Venice in July. I started looking at the Artesia night train service (about a 12-hour trip). But since I'm a snorer and I'd hate to drive strangers insane, I'm thinking I'dy pay extra for a 2-person compartment. With that in mind, perhaps it would make more sense (and save money) to fly? EasyJet looks to be about 46-56 Euros per person. What do you suggest?

Fly. Of course, the airfare is cheap but you'll then face the cost of a hotel room in Venice plus the transportation from Venice Marco Polo into the main city. Still, my vote is to fly.

My vote is for flying as well... You will have more time to spend in Venice and you will get a better night's sleep at a hotel.
