An enduring romantic but well traveled, I wonder about the complexity/joy factor of making my way from Paris to Madrid (for a week) then climbing aboard another train - AVE? aiming for Valencia October 2013. Eventually I plan on landing in Almeria - train again? to poke around. On my own. I understand that there is a night train from Paris to Madrid. A good idea? OR would booking a rail pass renfe from Paris throughout Spain be more pragmatic. Sanity not cost is my concern. Anyone? Merci
