Paris to Toulouse via TGV - CDG station

there seems to be a SLOW train leaving Auterlitz Station to Toulouse at the time and date I want to travail, but if I'm just landing at CDG, how long/difficult is it to get to my station?

Gare d'Austerlitz to Toulouse isn't your only possible route. If the timing is right, you can take TGVs all the way from CDG to Toulouse (with changes) and you won't have to go into Paris. Again, if the timing is right, you can take TGVs from Gare Montparnasse to Toulouse, some direct and some with one change, which might or might not be better timing than leaving from Gare d'Austerlitz.

What time will you arrive at CDG?

If you take the RER from CDG to Paris and transfer as necesary to get to either Gare d'Austerlitz or Gare Montparnasse, your travel time will be just under an hour. The fare is 8.20€.

Departure from Austerlitz station is the only option that comes up on the date/time I want to travel on the RailEurope website. I land before 9 a.m. and the TGV leaves Austerlitz at 13 H - arriving in Toulouse at 8 p.m. Egads, I can't believe this is my only option. An e-mail reply from the RailEurope suggests there is a direct CDG-Toulouse train, but I cannot find one!

The Rail Europe timetables are notoriously incomplete, particularly when a route requires connections. The best timetables for all of Europe are at www.bahn.de. Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner for English. Enter Aeroport Paris Charles de Gaulle TGV as your departure point and Toulouse-Matabiau as your arrival point. After you get summary timetables, click on "Details for all" to see the connecting points, if any.

Yes, there is one direct TGV from CDG to Toulouse, but it doesn't depart until 13:37.

If your plane arrives on time and you get through immigration/passport control fairly quickly, you MIGHT be able to catch the direct TGV departing Gare Montparnasse at 11:30. It will take an hour to get from CDG to Gare Montparnasse on the RER & Metro. Your next choice would be to take the TGV departing Gare Montparnasse at 12:10 and change in Bordeaux to get to Toulouse.

If you don't want to go into Paris, you could wait and take a TGV from CDG to Valence leaving at 11:42, changing in Valence and Montpellier to get to Toulouse.

In any case, there will be no need for you to take the 13:56 train from Gare d'Austerlitz.
