Paris to Swiss Alps

Iam trying to go from Paris to Berner Oberland or Interlaken but I am unsure how to get ther from Zurich. The eurail does not go there and my next stop is Venice. Trying to not get too off course and stop overnight at the Swiss Alps before we head to Venice. So does anyone know how to get to Berner Oberland from Zurich? According to Rick Steves book it is a better spot to see the Swiss Alps.

Eurail is a marketing consortium, not a railroad. The timetables on both the Swiss Rail site and the German Rail site show that you can easily travel from Zurich to Interlaken Ost with one connection in Bern.

Or, if you wish, you can go from Paris to Interlaken Ost without going to Zurich at all. If you use the German Rail timetables, after you get summary timetables for Paris-Interlaken Ost, click on the arrow to the left of each departure time to see the connecting points.

When are you going? I don't think you can see accurate train scheduled on rail europe more than 60 days in advance. So if you're trying to get an idea of the scheudle (using rail europe), just try to put in a date that is a similar day of the week, within 60 days. I used rail europe to book tickets from Paris to Interlaken then Interlaken to Venice in about 3 weeks. No problems, no reason to go through Zurich (paris to bern, bern to Interlaken....then Interlaken to Speiz to Brig, brig to Venice). Yeah, you might get the tickets cheaper by using a European rail site, or waiting till you get there to buy them....but my opinion as an inexperience European traveler - using the extremely user-friendly raileurope site is worth the extra cost.
