Hi everyone...need the experts' help here....we are traveling from paris to a couple of days in Strasbourg then on to barcelona. From what I can see, we would take a train to Strasbourg and then looks like we may need to go back to paris to catch the TGV fast train to barcelona....can someone please let me know if this is the most efficient way? Thank you!

The train from Paris to Strasbourg will be fairly straightforward. I haven't checked but at least part of that route may be via TGV at 300 kmH.
For the trip from Strasbourg to Barcelona, the method I'd probably use is train from Strasbourg to Basel-Mulhouse EuroAirport and then a flight with EasyJet to Barcelona. The rail trip will be about 1H:15M to Basel and then a short trip from there to the airport, possibly by Bus (I didn't check the details on that). EasyJet appears to have two flights per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.
Another option would be to travel by train from Strasbourg to Zürich airport (about 3 hours) and then take a flight with Vueling to Barcelona. They appear to have two departures per day at 09:10 and 19:05. Unless you travel to Zürich the day prior to your flight, you'll have to take the evening flight which will get into BCN quite late.
