My husband and I are taking an early flight out of Orly airport. I have booked a shuttle through Easy Jet with Paris Shuttle but am seeing very mixed reviews on this shuttle service as well as many others. Many of the reviews are not very recent so I was wondering if anyone has more current personal experience with this shuttle service. Also if we were take a cab instead does anyone know if we can reserve a cab in advance or do we have to call when we are ready to leave? Thanks.

Without going into the details, I know of too many times the shuttle didn't make it - - to the point I'd never depend on it without plans A, B, and C in my pocket. Have the hotel make the taxi arrangements the night before and everything should be fine - - if you make it yourself, it probably won't work out - - again skiping the details. What does work is public transport - - if it starts early enough for your needs. The most important thing to do is to know where the closest taxi rank is in case everything turns to worms. How early is this flight, anyway?

Our flight leaves at 7am which is obnoxiusly early but the only other option was to fly out at 3pm which was too late. I am leaning towards reserving a taxi since I don't want to be stressing about a shuttle not showing up.

Yes I think I will ask the hotel to do that. I emailed them to ask if that is the better option but they have not yet responded. I'm assuming it would not be an issue
