I purchased our Paris- London Eurostar tickets from the Rick Steves travel store. I was able to book a promotional rate (nonrefundable) for 4 July 2009. It was around $77 second class. I got a 20% discount code for shopping in the travel store and a trip planning DVD. I was able to book further ahead on their site than I was with eurostar.

Thanks to all for responding. I checked out several sites and booked the best fare on eurostar.com. Since our dates were flexible, I found Sunday to be the best rate.

I just booked on the Eurostar, London to Paris, for May 8 and got a fare of 51 GBP. Last year for about the same date we had to pay 59 GBP.

We purchased through the RS site also. Prices were nearly the same as on eurostar site....and Rick has done so much between his books, shows and this website to help me, i'd rather give him my business!
