Paris to Le mont saint Michel

Hello Phillip, For train connections from CDG, you can look at en.voyages-sncf.com. Where it calls for a country to collect tickets, choose France or even Antarctic. If you choose US, you will be sent to Raileurope, which does not show all connections and often has higher prices. There are several direct (no train change) runs each day between CDG and Rennes, which is very close to Mont St. Michel. That journey takes a little over 3 hours. Once in Rennes, there are several options. You can rent a car close to the train station. Driving in Brittany quite easy. I have also read of people taking a taxi from Rennes to MSM. I also understand there is a bus. Perhaps someone else can give you specifics on the bus. We did a similar trip in reverse. We had a car for Normandy and Brittany. If at all possible, spend the night on MSM, on the island itself, not in the village on the mainland. Good plan is to arrive mid afternoon. Spend the night and leave by 10 or so the next morning.
