Paris to Brussels

I am ready to buy tickests on tgv.com and the best I can do is 45 euro for June 30

early this year I checked and got as low as 25 euros.

Is it possible that prices could go down if I wait?

I got Avignon for 45 euros which seems not bad.

Should I wait as I am leaving for France June 23?

Just like discount airlines, the longer you wait the more you will pay. Purchase the tickets now.

On the other hand, buying now ties you into a specific date and time. Is the small savings enough to justify the loss of flexibility?

Of the 35 days in France I know I have to book 5 days of travel. Once to Brussels. Will stay in Belgium 6 days
Once form Paris to Avignon and Arles(10 days on a bike. Arles to Nice and then from Nice to Marseille
and finally Marseille to Paris. In between time I wiil buy tickets as I need them.
Thanks

We are doing the reverse trip (Brussels to Paris) on July 4th. I started monitoring the Thayls site when tickets became avialable 90 days before departure, and noticed that the cheap (smoove) tickets were disappearing quickly. I purchased four tickets last Tuesday for 100 euros; just checked this evening and four tickets on the same train are 252 euros.
