After months playing with the helpline you'd think i could figure this out..but..a friend is coming from seattle, with a friend and too much baggage so they booked the paris shuttle which asked them to call and confirm when they arrived at customs and before they picked up their baggage??..so my question is..Has anyone used the ParisShuttle service?

Yes, I have, though it was about 5 years ago. What do you want to know other than that it worked very well for us?

what i wanted to know was do you have tocall and confirm from the other side of customs upon arrival in france or were you able to complete the booking while still at home and expect someone to be at the arrival gate with the "hello cindy" sign

Yes, they will have to call upon arrival. See this page.

Yes, as Tim says, and as it explains on the linked website, you call a toll-free number from the baggage collect area to say you have arrived and then you will be told to wait outside of Door so-and-so for the van.
