Paris Nord station...transportation from?

We are arriving on a Sunday afternoon from London on the Eurostar train with two kids and luggage. What is the best mode of transp. to get to our accomodations in the 7th?

I took a taxi from rue Cler to Gare du Nord last fall during the transit strike. It was very early in the am, so there was very little traffic. My fare was about 15 Eu. Your situation sounds like a time for a taxicab ride.

I just returned yesterday from Paris Nord so my info in really fresh. Cost me o/a 17Euros from Nord to the Latin Quarter and worth every dime. I travel with a carry on and small backpack so I could do the subway if I was on a tight budget but there are alot of really long esclators and plenty of stairs involved on any subway journey...with two kids and luggage you'll just end up a frazzled mess if you try it. Be advised you may have to wait up to an hour at the taxi stand...just depends. Men will come up to you asking if you need a taxi - avoid them at all costs. Use only the official taxi stands at any transportation hub be it train, plane or whatever. Cheers from snowy London!
