Paris Metro to Charles de Gaulle Airport

My Hotel is at 19 Quia Voltaire. The Closet Metro Stations are Musee d'orsay or Rue Da Bac . We are arriving in Paris by EuroStar, and gave no thought about our trip to the airport.Iam not even sure Metro goes there. Still digging... Thanks George

Hello George! Judging by my handy metro map (click to enlarge), your best route would be the RER B & RER C.

1. Start: Musée d'Orsay.

2. Take RER C to St-Michel-Notre-Dame. Direction: Massy, Versailles-Chantiers, Dourdan, or St. Martin d'Étampes. If it stops at Invalides, you're going the wrong way.

3. Switch to the RER B line.

4. Take the RER B to your CDG terminal. Direction: Aéroport Charles de Gaulle. The second to last stop serves Terminals 1 & 3. The last stop is Terminal 2.

An alternate - because at times the RER C is not as reliable depending on your day of travel or time (because Sundays are limited for example) is to board line 12 at rue de Bac to Sevres Babylon and change to line 10 to Cluny Sorbonne (also Saint Michel) change to RER B there (2 escalators).

This is not a Metro ticket btw - and an separate ticket is normally needed - 8.10 per person - assuming you will not have a zone 5 pass.
