I will be taking the train to CDG airport from district 7,the way I read the rail guide is to take the RER C from Invalides to Notre-Dame station then switch to RER B to CDG. My question is how long will this journey take as I have an early flight, or is there a better route.
Hi David,
The answer to both parts of your question depends on the time that you are departing at, due to the variations in metro/RER schedules. I would recommend that you take a look at the RATP's English website, which has a helpful travel planner. It is at http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/index.php#

Sharon, I agree and I've modified my post to remove the reference to the Air France bus.
Thanks for the clarification Tim--sorry for the confusion! Bottom line, David--you're on the right track :) Best, Sharon
