Has anyone used world-airport-transfer.com?

Any time you have questions about going from an air terminal or RR station into the city center, ask someone. If that doesn't work, find the Tourist Information Office and ask.

Public transportation (bus or train) is ALWAYS ABOUT HALF THE COST OF A TAXI. If you have time to take public transit, don't waste money on a taxi.

I have read on posts here that the train is fast and cheap at CDG.

Susan - Public transport is the cheapest and could be the quickest. But you might provide more information about your needs - what time of day do you arrive, how many people, how much luggage and where is your hotel?

We arrive at CDG at 6:20 a.m via Atlanta on August 24. Hotel is Hotel Therese in 1'st Arron. between the Opera and the Louvre. Two people, two pieces of luggage, two small carry-ons. I have read about different shuttles but have not heard anything about world-airport-tranfer.com. Website looks good, but they wouldn't post anything negative, of course! French weak...I keep slipping into Spanish. Thanks.

Take the Air France bus, you won't have any trouble finding it. Cost about 15 € each way. A taxi will cost about €80. Convert that and the bus looks really good. Get a Carnet at the airport and you'll be ready to hop the Metro if needed. Easy to use.
E-mail your hotel for the nearest Metro stop. Still too far? Takle a cab from there. Don't be worried. It takes about 10 minutes to get the hang of it. (PS, Parlez a little French and a wonderous thing happens Voila, they all chime back in English. Just start out with your proper Bon Jour, all else falls into place.
