Paris Carnet Pack

In reading RS, I understand it can be shared among travelers. So…does that mean if we buy 1 pack to share and are traveling the same routes, that when we enter the metro and use the carnet through the turnstile, can I hand to my traveling partner and she can use on same route, too?

A carnet is just 10 separate tickets, bought at one time, for a lower price than buying 10 tickets separately. The tickets themselves are the same as single tickets. So, you can distribute them among your party any way you wish (if you're splitting up for a day and one person is taking more metro/bus trips, they can have more tickets). They also don't expire, so you can save leftovers for another trip, or give them to someone else to use.
