Paris Bercy train?

I am trying to book my hotel or hostel for Paris, a lot of rooms are full for the night I need 5/27, and I would like to stay near the train station we are leaving from on the night of the 28th for our overnight to Venice.

My train tix say we leave from Paris Bercy, but I can't find that in my guide book.

Can you tell me where that station is? And if you have any hotel/hostel recs in the area.

I have already checked mije, oops, hotel du champ de mars and they are all full.

Thanks!

You definitely need a map of Paris. Gare de Bercy is in the 12th arrond. and if you google it you can get a map of the location. There is a Hotel Campanile at Place de la Nation, which is not very far from Bercy on Line 6 Metro, that might suit you. Remember, google is your friend.

Here is the map of the RER and Metro lines in Paris. There is a stop call "Bercy" at the intersection of the 6 and 14 Metro lines, just across the river from Gare d'Austerlitz, next to Parc de Bercy.

Gare de Bercy is just southeast of Gare de Lyon. The station itself isn't named on a metro map, but it's by the Bercy metro station which is one stop beyond Gare de Lyon on metro line 14.

You really don't need to limit yourself to hotels near Bercy. You can get to the station quickly by metro from anywhere in central Paris.
