At the end of our RS Sicily tour on Oct. 22 we are going to Basel/Lucerne. What is the best way to get there? Thanks!

It's a very long way, flying is the only sensible option. Fly to Zurich. Take train from Zurich to Luzern. Besides Alitalia via Rome, MeridianaFly has direct non stops from PMO to ZRH. AirBerlin does too, but only in Summer. If you want to fly to Basel, there are no non stop options from PMO. You need to stop over somewhere.
