I've been reading the Oyster posts, and I just wanted to get some clarification.
I've been told that the Oyster card will tap out at the Travelcard level. In other words, that I won't be charged more than I would for a Travelcard in a single day (as long as I stay in Zone 1 and 2). Is this correct? Thanks!

That's correct; it will max at no more than the appropriate Travelcard bearing in mind peak (before 9:30 AM M-F) and off-peak travel
