Okay, I am slightly overwhelmed with purchasing tickets. I've been to Europe before (lived in Prague for a semester), but only purchased point to point tickets. When I was there I noticed the tickets were definitely much cheaper than what I saw online. However, it seems like either rail tickets have gone up enormously in price since 2008 or maybe just what is quoted online is more? Now I'm thinking in some instances maybe we should just fly? There are two of us going, who are students ages 23 and 24. We will be in the UK then going to Paris via Eurostar.(Already purchased) THEN We are traveling: Paris? Munich (saw there was a CNL train, prefer) Munich? Freiburg/Rust (we are going to Europa Park, because we are big amusementpark nerds) Freiburg?Copenhagen (saw there was a CNL train, prefer) Question 1: What kind of tickets? Should we just point to point? Get a twin pass? Two student passes? Should it be through Eurail? DB?Germany/Denmark pass? Question 2: If we get a twin pass, do we book one reservation? Or two? If we are say, getting an economy double, second class sleeper, do we each pay 65 EUR for the reservation? Or just one? It sounds silly- I just want to make sure! Question 3:
Are any rail passes good for local transit? Or is that all going to be separate? Thanks so much for all your help in advance!
