I am planning on traveling from either Milan or Florence to Paris. Does anyone know about what the cost would be for a reservation and sleeper on the EN train?

Hi Jessica,
According to Rick Steves' list of train reservations, a bunk in a six-bunk compartment is usually $30-37 for a reservation, in a four-bunk compartment it is $50 on average. You said sleeper but I was not sure if you meant a couchette or not. According the link above, sleepers vary from $36 to $230 depending on what you are looking for - for one person, two people, etc. If you know exactly what you are looking for we could give you a more specific answer.

Hey thanks,
I was thinking about a sleeper compartment for my finacee and I. We have no problem sleeping in a couchette, I just wanted to know if anyone knew the price for this specific route.

Rail Europe charges $125 per person just for the reservation in a private two-person sleeper. You can get a somewhat better price than this by either booking through the Italian rail website or Euraide, but Euraide charges a $50 fee for their services, and I was having trouble figuring it out on the Italian rail website (though I am sure someone else can get that fixed).
