Can anyone give suggestions on using the night train from Istanbul to Ankara for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children, ages 10 and 8). We are interested in the sleeper cars but my research suggests they are only available for 2 people and we are concerned about being separated/safety?

According to the Seat 61 site, there are 4 person couchettes available. More info can be found here:

Be advised in rail terminology, sleepers are accommodations designed for 1-2 persons, couchettes are designed for 4-6 persons. So technically you shopping for a "couchette", not a "sleeper".
