I keep hearing that there is an overnight train to San Sebastian from BArcelona, but when I go to the Renfre website, I only can find one departure a day (in the morning). DOes anyone know if there really is an overnight train and how can I get tickets on it?

There is an overnight train from Barcelona to San Sebastian....sort of. You take the 8:50 pm Talgo sleeper from Barcelona to Burgos, arriving there at 3:15 in the morning, then wait until about 10 am for the first train to San Sebastian. Not exactly the most convenient run, at more than 15 hours travel time. The distance between the two isn't enough to justify direct overnight trains anymore. Probably far more efficient to take the 7:35 am train and be in San Sebastian 5 1/2 hours later....advance-purchase web specials on the RENFE site are as low as 24 Euro.
